Exactly as expected.
😠Great little phone, I smashed the screen on my original xz premium and needed a quick fix so at £149 was a great solution however being an older model I've found it wont support certain app updates one of them being ebay😠, so if buying beware.
This is an excellent phone, very well made and worthy of five stars were it not for a feature, shared by other phones, that is just plain stupid - it's all-glass finish is slippery to the point of wontonness - they have to know. I mean, it's so slippery, if you place it on ANY surface other than, I suppose, a half-empty bucket of sand (say, under a pillow, on a wooden table, in your hand) it moves, i.e. it falls. You can't stop it. So, you buy a case. They must know the phone is impractical without a case and that making the back surface of the phone frictionless, all its glassy beauty is encased. So, in the end, you have a rubber phone with a nice screen.I mean, what other handheld object is designed with friction being of such little concern? Imagine the handle of a hammer being made intentionally slippy. You can't, can you?
I really should be doing my uni work but christ do I have a few words to say about this beauty. this is a long overdue praise of this phone. if you are looking for a goooood phone now which is still vv quick and has a sick display (4K!) and all the features (you'll be surprised) then this is the one. admittedly the camera isn't great by today's standards, (no night mode) but if given enough light it can produce outstanding shots ngl. I wouldn't REALLY reccomend it now tho, the phones you can buy released this year for around the same price are probs about even and will last longer. I just had to give my condolences now I've moved on, the phone is honestly so trusty I think it will still be working when I'm hitting 120. I just moved on to a Note 10 + because I could afford it and just wanted a newer phone with a better camera. this phone was honestly the best smartphone released in this generation and was much of an underdog really. unreviewed, unrecognised. unparalleled.
There's a lot to like about this Sony phone; great screen that's very sharp and clear and works well even in quite strong sunlight, a good camera that produces good images even in low light levels, it quick and doesn't lag with the apps I use - not using it for gaming so I can't comment on that, sound quality is OK, I use Sony blue tooth earbuds for listening to music and beat of all the price is great - I paid £199 which is excellent value for money IMOThe only real downside is the fingerprint reader which is situated on the side of the phone and quite awkward to use. When the phone is inside the wallet I bought for it, this becomes near impossible and I very often resort to using the password to login to the phone.
