What are Honor phones?

Honor launched in 2013 as part of Huawei, then became a fully independent company in 2020. Since then, Honor phones sold in the UK run Android with full Google Mobile Services, so everything works as you’d expect straight out of the box.

These days, Honor mainly focuses on mid-range and upper-mid-range phones. The brand leans into clean design, good OLED displays and cameras that hold up rather well for everyday use.

What Honor models do we stock?

Honor 20 Pro is one of their earlier devices, built around Huawei’s Kirin processor and a quad camera setup. It’s still a solid option for general use, especially if you care about photography and want something that feels premium without being current generation pricing.

Honor 50 was a big moment for the brand in Europe. It was among the first models released after they went independent and brought Google services back into the picture. An OLED display, Snapdragon chipset and a design that feels modern without being overdone.

Honor 70 pushed the camera side further, particularly for portrait shots. It keeps the OLED display and smooth performance, making it a popular step up from older mid-range phones.

Honor 90 is the newest of the bunch and the clearest picture of where Honor is now. A high-resolution display, updated camera hardware and a newer Snapdragon processor put it firmly in today’s mid-range sweet spot.

Honor phones generally run MagicOS, which is based on Android and includes Google services. It’s fairly clean, customisable and doesn’t take long to get used to if you’ve had an Android phone before.

All in all, if you want something reliable, current and easy to live with, that’s the lane Honor’s in.
